Mark Wigley

- Mark Wigley, who joined the School in 1987, is an architectural theorist and critic who writes about the relationship between architecture and philosophy, focusing on the question of ornament. In 1988, he was a curator of a MOMA exhibition titled "Deconstructivist Architecture." In addition to publishing a book by that title, he has published widely in architectural journals. His most recent book, The Architecture of Deconstruction: Derrida's Haunt, was published by The MIT Press in 1993. His forthcoming book, White Walls, Designer Dresses: The Fashioning of Modern Architecture, will be published by The MIT Press.
- Wigley was a 1989-90 fellow at the Chicago Institute for Architecture and Urban Studies. In addition to his other professional activities, Wigley is a member of the organizing committee for the 1995 Milan Triennale.
