Reading Architecture: x4

Friday 21 September

12:00 – 13:00, George Fraser Gallery, 25A Princes Street, Auckland

The School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Auckland celebrates the publication of three recent books by staff – Dorita Hannah, Event-Space: Theatre Architecture and the Historical Avant-Garde; Farzaneh Haghighi, Is the Tehran Bazaar Dead? Foucault, Politics and Architecture; Marian Macken, Binding Space: The Book as Spatial Practice – and, in collaboration with AUT, a special issue of Interstices, bringing together papers from last year’s Centennial Symposium on the history of architecture and planning education in New Zealand. Authors will briefly introduce their work, drinks and a light lunch will be provided. Free. No booking required.
